TURKEY:
CINAR KULTUR SANAT VE GENCLIK KULUBU DERNEGI was founded in 2010, with the experienced dancers and careographer.
They are working on to present the traditional rich cultural elements of Anatolia on universal standarts, by using the most contemporary technics, with children and adults. This is a group under the Baskent University umberella. Because of this most of members are university student. Group has capability to perform dances from 5-6 different region of Turkey. They will perform “Horon”, “Halay”, “Zeybek” type dances. You can find more info about these dances as attachment.
TAI-WAN:
Taipei Grass Mountain Folk Orchestra was founded by Dr. HUANG TSUNSHIN in Yang-Ming Mountain 1992.(the original name is Grass Mountain)
Since established, Taipei Grass Mountain Folk Orchestra is devoted in preserving, researching and developing native and traditional Chinese folk art.
With great efforts from present director - Huang, Tsun-shin, the orchestra has been taken to the stage across Taiwan local cultural centers, National Concert Hall and national wide circuit performances which counted more than 900 concerts at present.
More than 42 times, the orchestra has been invited to attend overseas performances. Footprints across Asia, Africa and European countries such as Thailand, Hong Kong, Macaw, Egypt, Greece, France, Germany, Czech, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, Holland, and Belgium. Yet in 1999, the Orchestra was assessed as the most remarkable performance art team by Council for Culture Affairs, Taiwan and is designated to take lead in international arts activities. The fourth name award “Outstanding Performances” has been given by Taiwan Executive Yuan. No doubt that Taipei Grass Mountain Folk Orchestra is growing under spotlight and has won the most heavy applauses and encore at world stage of folk music.

I made my own pipes , many years ago and someone said to me once as a joke that a good looking set of pipes never works , mine work.
The pipes date from the 1700s and are related to Northumbrian pipes , bothe coming from Pastoral pipes. The Irish pipes are also called Uilleann (elbow) and organ pipes (they are still played in churches today).
For our respect to Neil Smith I will play the song I played for him at his funeral. It is called Mrs Jamesons Air , (an air is best described as a song without words). I also know a tune that is very popular on both the Irish and Noerthumbrian pipes.
Later I will play one set of dancing tunes in 3/4 time called jigs and will then finish with a set of dancing tunes in 4/4 time called reels.
On Sunday the first song will be an air for people who are thinking of freinds and family when they are far away.
The second song will be one jig and two reels, it is called the 'see you soon' set.
DEUTSCHLAND
Borduniak
Bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy are characteristic instrument for the Borduniak group.
Borduniakpresent folk dance music of Eastern Bavaria above all. The musicians play without a set score or programme. Just according to their mood and humour or depending on the echo of the audience they play tunes, melodies and songs spontaneously.
Borduniak prefer playing and singing with friends, in pubs or in country fairs. Join their traditional live music, sing together with the band, dance and be happy. Borduniak enjoy these common parties and spontaneous performances.

CHILDRENS´ GROUP MRÁČEK
Dětský soubor Mráček vznikl v roce 1989. Šíří krásy krojů, písní a tanců chodského kraje. Soubor má vlastní dudáckou muziku Bulácí. Členskou základnu tvoří děti od 5 do 15 let.

Soubor hraje taneční muziku, ale v dechovkovém žánru se zaměřuje na upravování chodských písniček, kterými pak reprezentuje Chodsko na festivalech, jako je např. Kubešova Soběslav, Vačkářův Zbiroh, Strážkovice Ády Kubaty, Chodské slavnosti atd.
HORALKA BRASS BAND
Kapela vznikla před 34 lety, založil ji Karel Bastian spolu s Václavem Wiesnerem. Současným kapelníkem je Josef Kubalík. Tato dechová hudba hraje na koncertech, slavnostech, tanečních zábavách a plesech a také na festivalech dechových hudeb, např. v Trhových Svinech, Třeboni, Soběslavi atd.
„LIDUŠKA“ MUSIC SCHOOL BRASS BAND
Dechový orchestr „Liduška“ ZUŠ Domažlice pod vedením Jiřího Huřťáka se s úspěchem, stejně jako folklorní soubory, účastní různých koncertů, festivalů a soutěží. Orchestr se stal zásobárnou hudebníků, kteří doplňují i zakládají vlastní dechové hudby.

The choir has 20 members. It sings baroque music, classical music, folk songs, folklore, musicals, spirituals. It performs on Saturday 9.8.2014, 1pm below Chodský Castle.
