Square with folklore ensembles from western Bohemia and other guests

12:30 p.m. IN CHODSKO WITH THE CHILDREN
Children from Chodsko play, sing and dance. Jánošiček presents Slovak
folklore Performers include Mráček from Mrákov with the band Drátenici,
the Postřekov children's ethnographic group, Youth music with dance
group from Domažlice and Jánošíček from Brno  compered by:
Markéta Příbková and Matěj Šlajs   directed by: Marie Johánková
2:30 p.m.    LET US TAKE A GANDER AT POSTŘEKOV, or this year
“Zigzagging across ‘Potřekov’ with Masopust”
Masopust, who was born somewhere sometime, staying here and there,
invites everyone to go on a saunter around the village with him. Come
and we'll find out why he likes being in our village and what places
he likes the most in ‘Potřekov’ performers: The Ethnographic Ensemble
of Postřekov and the Children's Ensemble of Postřekov

BOHEMIAN DANCE
6:00 p.m.     VISITORS IN CHODSKO, BUT NOT ONLY FROM MORAVIA
The folk ensemble Jánošíček from Brno performs the program “Z kade, tade”
with foreign guests from Taiwan and Macedonia. Folklore group Jánošíček
from Moravia will take you across the whole of Slovakia. Visit with us Myjava,
Liptov, Terchová, Šariš and Zemplín with us.       directed by: Jozef Kozub
9:00 p.m. YOUNG PEOPLE FROM PILSEN SING AND PLAY
A youth ensemble composed of participants from this year's second annual
music workshop in Spálený Poříčí plays the arrangements of folk songs from
Pilsen Radio's golden collection. The Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the
Pilsen Region, its soloists and guests under the direction of Dalibor Bárta
compered and directed by: Zdeněk Vejvoda
11:00 p.m.     BAGPIPERS' GET-TOGETHER
“A Ballad for a Bandit” FROM “POTŘEKOV”
Surely you know all the rumors about the Brichts of “Potřekov”? What really
happened to them and how did they end up? Well, come and see and maybe
you will find out! And if not, at least you will sing and have fun with us.

7:00 p.m.  JINDŘICH JINDŘICH AND HIS NATIVE CHODSKO
Marking the 50th anniversary of Jindřich Jindřich's death this celebration
is a “thank you” from all the singers, musicians and dancers for the musical
heritage that he left Chodsko. Ethnographic Ensemble from Postřekov,
Chodsko Folklore group from Mrákov, Konrády's Bagpipe Band, Domažlice
Bagpipe Band, Saur family from Trhanov, Haltravan, Frei family,
and the Morysek and Hojda falmilies from Klenčí.
